About Us

Owning a business has always been a dream of mine. My brother Kyle and I originally set out to start a roofing company, but along the way I discovered where my true passion lies - painting.

Over the years, I dedicated myself to learning the trade. I worked for professional painting companies, picked up skills I thought I already knew, and built the experience I needed to start something of my own. My brother and I began that journey together, building A Painter’s Edge from the ground up. When I first started, all I had was a license, insurance, and a small Honda Civic packed with tools and supplies. Word of mouth and client trust kept me going, and slowly the business began to grow. The more I painted, the more I realized this wasn’t just work - it was my calling.

Sadly, I lost my brother along the way. While it was one of the hardest moments of my life, it also gave me a deeper purpose: to carry on this business in his honor. Every project I complete is a reminder of the dream we stared together, and I strive to reflect his work ethic and pride in everything A Painter’s Edge delivers.

Seven years later, I look back and see how far I’ve come - from jobs I did when I first started to the work I do now. The growth, the lessons, and the relationships built with clients are what fuel me every day.
